Concert for Chiang Mai’s ‘Foundation to Encourage the
Potential of Disabled Persons’. Classical music by W. A. Mozart,
A. Borodin and Thai Folk music, played by M.L. Usni Pramoj, (viola), Tasana
Nagavajara (violin), Kittikhun Sodprasert (violoncello) and Siripong Tiptan
(violin). Begins at: 5.30 p.m. with a cocktail reception before the concert
at the Four Season Resort’s Intanin Room. The minimum donation of
500 baht per person will go 100% directly to the Foundation. Complimentary

The Influential Sri Lanka? A continuation of work
by Chiang Mai-based photographer Angela Srisomwongwathana. Black & white
pictures and color range from fine, symbolic stone carvings to world-class
5th century frescos. A-Gallery, opposite Gong Dee Studio, on
Nimmanhaemin, Soi 1 until July 22, from Monday – Friday, 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
The annual two weeks Inthakin Ceremony will
be hosted by Wat Chedi Luang from May 19 – June 4. The festival is
used to ask for peace and rain. An associated ceremony, pithee suab jata
muang, is performed at the four city corners, the five city gates and at the
Three Kings Monument, to ensure the continued long life of Chiang Mai.
Art Museum at Chiang Mai University presents: Fly
with me to another World; an exhibition from May 23 until May 31 on
‘Seeing the Surroundings’ at the CMU Art Museum.
Dance Festival at Gong Dee Studio, Soi 1

Newly opened La Luna Gallery in Chiang Mai is
ready to present its first major exhibition: “White Mornings and
green buffaloes - visions of Vietnam”, featuring around twelve
Vietnamese artists. Some of the artists are already famous and
well-established internationally, while others are still young and upcoming
and have never before exhibited outside Vietnam. The exhibition runs from

Childbirth Preparation Classes - Especially for

Diane Smith and Lori Rowe work together to teach a series of two 2-hour
classes that will help prepare a couple for the birth of their baby. After
the birth, one of these nurses will also do a follow-up visit to answer any

Ray Twine MA will start a 5-6 week course on
NLP (cognitive behavior psychology) on Saturday May 22 from 10 a.m.
- 12 noon. N.L.P. modules, beliefs -attitudes- required outcome,
fundamentals of NLP, the buzzwords. Assessment of the priority senses.
Relationship with harmony. Language -models of excellence. Patterns of the
mind, the working part of NLP using proven methods to make mind-changes,
