The Miracle of Thai Food Festival opened by
“cooking” a big pot of food.
The latest festival to hit Chiang Mai was the Miracle of
Thai Food festival that was held at Chiang Mai Hall at Central Plaza Airport
Mall on the weekend of June 15-18, 2012. The Food Festival featured the
cuisine of the four regions of Thailand, the North, Isaan, Central and
Southern food with dishes famous to each region cooked by locals to those
regions on offer. In addition tables were piled high with langsat,
mangosteens, custard apples and lychee. This was the second time the event
was held, the first one was very popular in Bangkok and judging by the
number of people flocking to eat, so was this one.
