Thailand was represented at the 41st annual Asia Skäl
Congress, held in Penang, Malaysia, May 2012 by Skäl Thailand President
Andrew Wood, Skäl Chiang Mai and North Thailand President Annette
Kunigagon, Skäl Bangkok President Dale Lawrence, and Skäl Phuket
President Claude Sauterby. They are seen here in a group photo with Skäl
delegates and officials from Asia, Middle East, Australia and South
America.

Kantary Hills Hotel welcomes Nok Air Ambassadors:
The Nok Air Ambassadors led by Nok Airlines Vice President – Corporate
Communication Suriyapa Bunnag (front row, 4th left), received a warm
welcome from Kantary Hills, Chiang Mai General Manager Magrin Promyothi
(front row, 2nd left), during their ‘Nok Air Ambassador Workshop’ at
the hotel recently. Top model and make-up artist Onnapa Kritsadee,

The Secretary General of the UNWTO Dr. Taleb Rifai,
presided over the farewell party for the 24th joint
meeting of the UNWTO Commission for East Asia and the Pacific the UNWTO
Commission for South Asia at the Regional Conference on Green Tourism at
Lanna Room 2-3 Shangri-La Hotel
on May 5, 2012. The event was organized by the Ministry of Tourism and
Sports along with both public and private sectors with interest in green
tourism. More than 250 people attended the conference.

Krathai or Rabbit celebrated her 25th birthday at Soho Bar
and Guesthouse on Huay Kaew Road Saturday, May 5, 2012. The bar was
filled with regulars, friends and well wishers to Krathai for a very
happy birthday.

Siam Makro Public Company Limited, led by Mrs.
Somjai Suriyasin Sr. Mgr. MRA Development
(fifth, left),
together with retail members recently presided over the grand opening
ceremony of the second MRA branch in Chiang Mai . The newly opened MRA
Center aims to provide retailers and neighboring provinces including
Chiang Rai, Lampang and Lamphun with entrepreneurial knowledge and
management strategy. Additionally, it will organise a series of
workshops with business ideas to help customers increase their earnings,
multiply operational experience and maintain sustainability.
